Bad dreams or nightmares, increased anxiety and/or depression, and difficulty concentrating may be a few things you have been experiencing recently. These are causing you difficulty with completing tasks at work or at home, difficulty with sleep, and maybe you are feeling more irritable/cranky. You might even be feeling more exhausted or “drained” recently.
How I can help.
I help you sort through these emotions and thoughts. I help you make more sense of the negative beliefs, fears, and/or images you can’t seem to get rid of. You then learn ways of healing through the negative experiences you have had.
As a trauma therapist, I am trained in various trauma modalities helping to fit your personal needs and preferences. I am a trained EMDR therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing); as well as trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
**EMDR therapy is appropriate for children, teens, and adults. I tailor the approach to fit each person accordingly.
